Hitotsubashi ICS endowed with the ABEST21 KAIZEN Award 2021
TOKYO, Japan - April 12, 2022, Hitotsubashi ICS has been awarded the ABEST21 KAIZEN Award for 2021 in recognition of the school realizing significant improvements in the quality of its management education.
Speaking of the achievement, Hitotsubashi ICS Dean Emi Osono said, “Over the last decade, ABEST21 has been a valuable partner to our organization and a trusted advocate of management education in Japan and the Asian region. I am truly honored to receive this award on behalf of Hitotsubashi ICS.”
The ABEST21 KAIZEN Award is awarded on the recommendation of the ABEST21 Accreditation Committee to schools that have implemented all or most of their Action Plans to achieve a dramatic improvement in the quality of management education.
ABEST21’s online Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, ratified the Accreditation Committee’s recommendations for the 2021 awards.
Founded in 2005, ABEST21 (The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow, a 21st century organization) is an accreditation institution for professional graduate schools of business. It was certified by the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) in 2007, and since then has accredited dozens of schools in Japan, the Asian region and beyond.
